Summary:
The Registered Nurse (RN) for the Weekend PCU/Stepdown role is responsible for providing high-quality, compassionate care to patients during the weekend shifts (Friday to Sunday)The RN will be working in a float capacity within the Cleveland Region 3, requiring excellent clinical skills and experience in PCU/stepdown settings
Essential Functions:
Collects and analyzes relevant data to determine diagnoses, problems, and potential issues affecting the healthcare consumer's health or situationIdentifies expected outcomes and develops an individualized care plan prescribing strategies to attain measurable goalsImplements the care plan, coordinating delivery of care and promoting a safe environment for the healthcare consumerDelegates elements of care to appropriate healthcare workers in accordance with legal and policy parameters, ensuring safe and effective careEvaluates progress towards goals and outcomes, adjusting the plan of care as neededPractices in a culturally diverse and inclusive manner, communicating effectively in all areas of practiceCollaborates with healthcare consumers and stakeholders in conducting nursing practiceDemonstrates leadership in the professional practice setting and seeks knowledge and competence reflecting current nursing practiceIntegrates evidence and research findings into practice, contributing to quality nursing practiceEvaluates own and others' nursing practice in relation to professional practice standards, guidelines, statutes, rules, and regulationsUtilizes appropriate resources to plan, provide, and sustain evidence-based nursing services that are safe, effective, and fiscally responsiblePractices in an environmentally safe and healthy manner, promoting ethical practice and shared governancePhysical Requirements:
