Modern office setting Food provided Job Description Carolina Chiropractic Group PLLC is seeking a highly motivated and detail oriented individual to fill the position of Insurance Verification Specialist.
This position is responsible for verifying insurance benefits and eligibility.
This position will be responsible for all aspects of the insurance verification process, including but not limited to:
Verifying insurance information and benefits are correct and accurate Confirm all insurance benefits are offered to patients before they see the physician Verify patients' addresses and contact details prior to the start of their treatment Enter data into the EMR system and update patient information in the system as needed Update all staff information in the EMR system as needed Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Medical terminology (I/C) Certification preferred but not required (A/R, A/P, A/V, etc.
) Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision required Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail required Knowledge of medical terminology and basic medical procedures preferred but not required Medical knowledge preferred but not required for this position Strong verbal communication skills required Job Type:
