Job Description:
The position will be responsible for registering patients to the facility in compliance with establishes policies and payor requirements in manner that communicates to the patient that their well-being is the primary mission of NextCare. Registration includes obtaining data and paperwork from the patient, inputting to the electronic health record system, verifying insurance, collecting payment and processing patient for discharge.
The ideal candidate will have exceptional customer service skills, ability to multi-task, prioritize and critical thinking skills.
oEducational Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent
oExperience Requirements: Minimum of two years experience in registration or front office in a physician's office, hospital emergency department and/or urgent care setting and computer proficiency in Windows based software

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
