Senior Developer at Public Consulting Group in Remote
Design, develop, test and support business applications. Key Accountabilities:
Analyze business requirements and develop design specifications for complete business solutions of moderate to high complexity. Code system components according to design specifications. Act as technical lead, overseeing the work of a small technical team responsible for the development, unit/integration testing and implementation of business solutions. Manage the design and implementation of all necessary technical environments, including, but not limited to development, test and production. Identify and implement opportunities for optimizing business and IT effectiveness. Work with business unit to analyze and resolve system defects. Balance complex business and technical issues to develop effective business/systems solutions. Produce comprehensive documentation for the business solution developed. Provide training to systems staff & clients as required. Assume the role of mentor, teacher, and advisor responsible for developing more junior staff members. Provide off hour systems support. Qualifications Key Skills:
Strong knowledge of the company's business operations and challenges, including a solid understanding of the company's various businesses. Strong knowledge of structured analysis and design techniques. Includes strong understanding of design and development tools, methodologies and techniques. Expert ability to develop system components. Strong understanding of testing techniques and the production process. Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with solid presentation skills. Solid leadership skills, including the ability to develop junior staff, delegate structured assignments and monitor the progress of others. Strong planning and organizational skills, including the ability to prepare schedules and communicate status of the overall development effort. Expected Experience 6
years of experience in a client server, web and/or cloud/services environment. Previous experience in both development and maintenance environments which may have included project leading responsibilities.
Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
